Virtual Assistant

Claire is Flow State Space’s Virtual Assistant. She is based in Perth, WA.

Claire understands the transformative impact of seeking the help of a professional can have on a person’s life. Her own personal journey through therapy included seeking help and having a full recovery from bulimia in 2015.

She has also faced many mental health challenges around identity and race as an Australian with Chinese-Indonesian and English descent. Struggling with racial profiling and discrimination one day, then being told she had the best of both worlds the next, this has created a complex emotional experience. The internal struggle of reconciling diverse cultural influences can lead to a distressing sense of not belonging or not feeling free to fully embrace oneself.

This struggle is not exclusive to mixed race individuals but extends to anyone who relates to feeling displaced or torn between different socio-economic and cultural influences. Despite the challenges, she has reached a point where she fully embraces her multicultural experience.

Outside of work, Claire can be found enjoying pottering around the home, seeking nature, learning something new, meditating, or spending quality time with loved ones.

She is here to support you in any way she can through your experience here at Flow State.
