Chana is a qualified couples/ relationship and family therapist, with a Masters in Family and Systemic Therapy and accreditation with the Mental Health Social Workers Association of Australia.
Chana is passionate about helping individuals, couples, and families navigate relationship challenges, life transitions. traumas and communication issues to create healthier, more fulfilling connections.
With a warm, firm, supportive and systemic approach, she works to ensure clients feel heard, understood, and empowered throughout their journey.
Chana believes that safe, connected relationships form the foundation of a joyful and fulfilling life. Chana has experience working with people with various needs and backgrounds including complex presentations and family systems. She has particular experience supporting people during their relationship; post separation; navigating co-parenting relationships, or couples wanting to communicate more effectively.
Whether working with individuals, couples, or families, she draws from a diverse range of therapeutic approaches including Gottman, EFT, and psychodynamic principles to meet clients where they are, helping them heal from past wounds, improve connection, and enhance communication.Chana has extensive experience working within the Australian legal and family courts system, working within multidisciplinary teams. Chana likes to work systemically, taking the wider system around the client(s) into consideration. Whilst she enjoys working 1:1 with some clients, her specialty is working with more than one in the room - whether that be a couple, members from the same family or other significant relationships. Her commitment to providing a compassionate, non-judgmental space supports clients to explore and transform their relationship dynamics, so they can move forward with greater understanding, connection, and resilience.Qualifications:
Bachelor of Social Work (honours)

Member of the Australian Association of Social Workers (AASW)
Mental Health Social Work Accreditation

Medicare Mental Health Treatment Plan Available for individual sessions. Rebate $87.25. Out of pocket cost: $132.75
